Abstract:The work aims to solve the problems that the current user groups have increased requirements for the diversification of furniture functions, and hopes that the furniture structure can be more concise and convenient for transport and assembly. Based on this social market demand, the method of combining the straight tenon structure in the traditional Chinese tenon structure with the cross-cutting combined structure in the modern structure is used in terms of the furniture assembly structure. Based on the principle of horizontal and vertical intertwining of the structure, the load-bearing capacity of the furniture is maximized with the least amount of materials, while the size, notch, unevenness and other details of each component of the furniture are limited. When the design form of the structural assembly combination is used to meet the basic structure of the furniture, the various structures are intertwined to achieve the multifunctional requirements of the furniture, which can add variability to the single functional form of the furniture and enable the furniture to be featured by simple combination and convenient disassembly. The proposed design intensifies the user experience and is in line with the general development direction of furniture market in a better way.
