Baina clothing is a special form of Chinese traditional clothing, its creation consciousness contains the sustainable concept of“cherishing things”,“cherishing good luck”, and“low-carbon”. Based on the interpretation of different creation forms of Baina clothing in history, this article believes that Baina clothing fits the sustainable development concepts of material sustainability, cultural sustainability, and sustainable fashion. It is hoped that the exploration for Baina clothing culture can provide historical basis and cultural support for the sustainable concept of Chinese modern clothing design.
