Abstract:The work aims to explore design disciplines from the perspective of cultural resources, promote the methods, strategies and design models of rural construction and guide design practice accordingly. It summarizes the principles of design intervention in rural construction through classic case analysis, organizes relevant research, summarizes the general path of rural design, introduces social innovation concepts to further derive rural design models based on cultural characteristics, and develops rural design practices based on the principles and models. The principle of rural design based on rural cultural resources includes four aspects which are subjectivity, characterization, systematization and sustainability. It proposes a practical approach of "insight, analysis, refinement, planning, application", and guides the specific design practice according to this principle and path. The design model that intervenes in rural construction from a cultural perspective is more conducive to the overall development of the countryside, and can provide ways and means for the design practice of design to help rural revitalization.
