Xixinan village is one of the traditional villages in Huizhou, China. Its drainage system facilities are well preserved and boast great characteristics. Up to now, it still has the function of benefiting water as well as the wisdom of managing water. Taking the drainage system space of Xixinan village, a traditional village in Huizhou, as the research object, the research summarizes its drainage system construction features, and provides suggestions and references for the new rural construction in the new era. By interpreting the village water space composed of drainage system facilities in Xixinan village, combing the operation characteristics of drainage system entering, surrounding and leaving the village, we can explore and summarize the wisdom of the construction of village drainage system.
