Through the development and design practice of serious games on the traditional architectural culture of Bayu, this paper realizes the protection and inheritance of traditional culture. The protection status of Bayu traditional architectural culture is investigated, the applicability, effectiveness and unique advantages of serious games for inheriting Bayu traditional architectural culture are analyzed, and the development strategies, design procedures and design methods of bayu traditional architectural serious games are put forward. The board chess and card game "Yuzhu" is designed with the concept of serious game, and the game positioning, game rules, game logic and corresponding visual design are completed in the serious game, providing new ideas for the activation and innovative application of traditional architectural culture in Bayu.
