Abstract:Taking "Yao-Chinese Folktales" as an example, the work aims to explore new ideas for the creation of Chinese animation series, and dig out new paths of cultural translation with animation series as a carrier by analyzing the innovative perspectives, methods and strategies of Chinese animation series based on the perspective of cultural translation, so as to achieve the purpose of revitalizing and inheriting diversified cultures. A cultural translation model is constructed. Relying on Edward Hall's cultural iceberg theory, the cultural elements in the Chinese animation series "Yao-Chinese Folktales" are extracted, and the way of presentation of multiculturalism in the animation series is systematically analyzed from the cross-media, cross-time and space, and cross-culture perspectives to realize the translation and reconstruction of culture. Through multi-dimensional cultural interpretation and innovative translation, the study provides a theoretical paradigm for the method and strategy of integrating cultural elements into Chinese animation series, which helps Chinese animation series to better manifest Chinese discourse, Chinese charm, and Chinese style. At the same time, by linking multiculturalism with the language of the times, it is able to complete the epochal translation of the spiritual inheritance, and realize the innovative development of culture.
