Abstract:Based on the principles of bionic design, the work aims to guide the design of maglev train model, providing inspiration for train concept design, improving the quality of train model, and meeting the basic requirements of aerodynamic performance. Firstly, through literature review, the research trends of bionic design in the field of rail transportation in China and abroad, mainly focusing on maglev train, are summarized. Secondly, through case studies, typical bionic design series models are analyzed to explore the application of bionic objects in train design. Then, by integrating the elements of bionic design and rail transportation design, a general process of bionic design for maglev train is established. Based on the linear trend of the train body, the sailfish is selected as a bionic object, and a conceptual design model of maglev train with bionic features is proposed. Finally, through preliminary simulation, the air resistance coefficient of the proposed model is obtained. By comparing this scheme with relevant case data, it is proven that the use of bionic design can meet the aesthetic value and aerodynamic performance requirements of maglev train design.
