Abstract:The work aims to dig out the cultural genes contained in the grape patterns of textiles on the Silk Road, and explore their activation, regeneration and innovative application in the digital era. Firstly, through literature review and field investigation, cases of fabric grape patterns were collected and summarized; Secondly, based on the theory of cultural genes, representative samples were selected and analyzed from the explicit and implicit levels; Thirdly, according to the research results, design elements were set, a resource library was established, and a CGM model was introduced to realize the regeneration of patterns; And finally, with the help of digital technology, the regenerated patterns were applied in the form of digital dynamics. Through the academic thinking and regenerative design of fabric grape patterns, the digital inheritance path of Silk Road heritage has been practiced, and new language materials have also been expanded for the contemporary expression of traditional objects.
