The second episode of the fourth season of National Treasure focuses on the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong (LCSD). The first national treasure brought by LCSD is the Birthday Congratulations of Deng Clan in Pingshan which belongs to the Mrs. Zheng of Deng Clan. The first scene of the Birthday Congratulations of Deng Clan in Pingshan · Past Life Legend is set in 1872 when Mrs. Zheng was at the age of 71 and lived in Hong Kong during the Tongzhi period of the late Qing Dynasty. During this period, the costumes of the late Qing Dynasty still remained the charming style. Coupled with the influence of religious beliefs, current affairs and politics, and foreign cultures, the costumes appeared to be colorful and varied under the collision, mixing and fusion of all kinds of waves of the times. The work aims to use handed-down objects, old photos and paintings from the late Qing Dynasty to conduct a comprehensive argumentation, so as to establish a macro-grasp of the image of women's costumes in Hong Kong in the late Qing Dynasty, clarify the characteristics of Mrs. Zheng's costume style, and explore the women's costume fashion of Hong Kong in the late Qing Dynasty.
