Abstract:As a modern comprehensive block built with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an important cultural heritage of the Silk Road, as the core, the Great Tang All Day Mall in Xi'an is a successful model both from the development of social economy and heritage utilization. This paper applies Lefebvre's spatial production theory to analyze the spatial reproduction of various elements such as planning, function, architecture, sound and light, and emerging technologies in the block of the Great Tang All Day Mall in Xi'an, revealing the experience space of different levels of life, perception, and imagination presented by it, and thus creating an aesthetic experience beyond the limitations of time and space. Through the research on the production space of the Great Tang All Day Mall in Xi'an, the paper analyzes through the construction process of conception, practice and representation of objective space, realizing the reproduction of subjective experience space in Great Tang All Day Mall, and enhancing people's cultural identity of Great Tang All Day Mall. This spatial construction and reproduction logic also provides new ideas and references for the activation and utilization of other cultural heritage.
